Environmental Protection
In light of the global development of low-carbon energy transition, ARE strives to continually assist the government and Taipower in maintaining stable electricity supply, from upstream blade manufacturing, wind farm investment and development, marine engineering contracting and O&M, to green energy wheeling after the completion of wind farm, allowing Taiwanese businesses to obtain quality green energy and enhance market competitiveness; ARE also strives to stabilize Taiwan’s investment environment, and lower energy-related carbon emissions, resolutely marching towards the target of "net-zero emissions."
Talent Incubation
In addition to business development, ARE and its subsidiaries also strive to establish comprehensive CSR policy; in the areas of ESG, ARE offers employees the most optimal working environment, and adopts an open-space office format, transparent system, and flat management design, building an organizational environment that suits our highly-educated and skilled technical personnel. Also, through internal education and training, ARE enhances employee quality and help its employees to strike a balance between work and life through flexible working hours and 15 days of special leave, which is more than the industry average.
Social Care
Wind farm development puts emphasis on engaging and giving back to the society. Not only does ARE carry out dialogues and sponsor fishery organizations, the academia, communities, and environmental groups, the localization of Taiwan’s offshore wind power will generate up to 250,000 jobs. How can Taiwan help local communities to achieve sustainability and enable young people to return to their hometowns, revitalizing remote areas, through developing local energy and take advantage of the opportunity of industrial transformation, are the keys at the heart of ARE’s pursuit of social care.
